Vettaiyan World Television Premiere this Pongal 2025
Vettaiyan starring Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead is all set to make its world television premiere on Sun TV Tamil channel this Pongal, 2025. Vettaiyan will be telecast on January 14, 2025 at 6: 30 PM. The movie is making its satellite premiere during the multi-day Hindu harvest festival of the Tamils, for which the Tamil Nadu state government has declared holidays from January 14, Tuesday till January 19, Sunday this year.
Vettaiyan is written and directed by TJ Gnanavel, and has screenplay by B Kiruthika. The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Kishore, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, GM Sundar, Abirami, Rohini, Rao Ramesh, Ramesh Thilak, Rakshan, among others.
With a runtime of 2 hours and 41 minutes, Vettaiyan follows the story of a sought-after encounter specialist who gets caught in a series of unexpected events, when he guns down a supposed criminal in a brutal rape and murder case.
Amidst his struggle to justify the act, ‘Vettaiyan’ must confront his moral compass while fighting corrupt, larger-than-life forces. The movie has Anirudh Ravichander for music, SR Kathir for cinematography, Anbariv for action, and Dinesh for choreography.
