Rajinikanth’s Coolie Movie Release Date Announced by Film Crew

The release plans for Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie “Coolie” have been revealed. The film crew has completed shoots in Visakhapatnam, Chennai, Hyderabad, and is now filming select scenes in Thailand. This schedule is expected to last 25 days. Following this, additional filming will take place in Chennai, and the entire shooting is projected to wrap up by March.

Post-production work will be expedited with the aim of releasing the movie in August. Sun Pictures, the production house behind the project, reportedly supports this decision as it aligns with the same month they experienced huge success with the film “Jailer.” An official announcement regarding the release is likely to be made around the Pongal festival.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, “Coolie” features a star-studded cast including Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, and Soubin Shahir. Anirudh is composing the music for the film. Once “Coolie” is completed, Lokesh Kanagaraj is expected to proceed with directing “Kaithi 2.”
