Jailer 2 announcement teaser re-introduces Rajinikanth as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian
Jailer 2 starring Rajinikanth in the lead is the highly awaited sequel to his blockbuster hit, Jailer (2023). The movie was officially announced on Tuesday, marking Pongal 2025. A Sun Pictures production, Jailer 2 sees Rajinikanth reuniting with writer, director Nelson Dilipkumar, and his nephew-in-law music composer Anirudh Ravichander.
Jailer 2 was announced with an amusing skit with Nelson, Anirudh, and Rajinikanth as ‘Tiger’ Muthuvel Pandian, the retired jailer character with a penchant for beating up the bad guys. Muthuvel Pandian’s signature move of finishing off the enemy with the removal of his spectacle (a sign for the snipers and his other hidden men to take aim at the target), also made a comeback in Jailer 2 announcement teaser.
Jailer 2 commences soon and the film’s announcement teaser was also released in Telugu, Hindi languages.
