Kubera: Release date of Dhanush, Nagarjuna starrer
Written and directed by Telugu filmmaker Shekar Kammula, Kubera titled after the Hindu God of wealth is an upcoming Telugu-Tamil bilingual. Just like the Kavin starrer Tamil movie Bloody Beggar (2024), Kubera’s lead character, played by Dhanush, is a beggar who undergoes a transformation.
While Bloody Beggar is a black comedy, and Kubera is a drama with completely different plotlines, both films revolve around the pursuit of wealth and its consequences, exploring themes of greed, ambition, and moral dilemmas faced by the characters leading to a quest for redemption.
MovieCrow hears that the Kubera release date is July 28, 2025. An official announcement on the same is however awaited. A production venture of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd, Kubera has Devi Sri Prasad for music, and also stars Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh, among others.
