Coldplay’s Ahmedabad concert to stream live on OTT this Republic Day
Chris Martin lead Coldplay is a four member British rock band, popular for their songs, albums, and concerts since 1997. On January 16, 2025, Coldplay marked 27 years since their first ever live performance as a whole team of Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, and Will Champion.
Coldplay is currently in India and is gearing up for a Republic Day special performance at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Coldplay’s India concert, which starts January 18 in Mumbai, is part of their Music of the Spheres tour, and on Friday they announced that their Ahmedabad show will be streamed live for everyone to watch.
Disney Plus Hotstar will stream Coldplay’s Ahmedabad concert live on January 26, 2025 i.e. the Republic day Sunday. The official X account of Coldplay tweeted the announcement accompanied by heart emojis representing the tricolour in the Indian flag.
Coldplay’s India concert marks the band’s return to the country 9 years since they famously performed at Mumbai’s Gobal Citizen Festival of India in 2016. Coldplay performs at Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium on January 18, January 19, and January 21, 2025. They conclude their India tour with the Ahmedabad shows on January 25, and January 26.
