Actor Vikram’s team has denied reports that he will star in the Tamil remake of the Malayalam film ‘Markko’. Directed by Hanif Adeni and starring Unni Mukundan, the movie was well-received after its release across multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Many in the film industry appreciated the project after watching it.

Recently, Vikram watched ‘Markko’ and praised Unni Mukundan for his performance. A photo of the two together surfaced online, fueling rumors that Vikram might star in the Tamil remake of the film. Several media outlets reported this as confirmation.

However, when investigated, it was clarified that these rumors are false. Vikram had only appreciated the movie and Unni Mukundan’s performance, and there are no current plans for a Tamil remake of ‘Markko’ featuring Vikram. Meanwhile, his next release, ‘Veera Dheera Sooran’, is slated to hit theaters in March.
