Director Gautham Menon has made a surprising statement denying ownership of the film ‘Enai Noki Paayum Thota,’ starring Dhanush. During promotions for his upcoming movie ‘Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse,’ featuring Mammootty and set for release on January 23, Gautham was asked about ‘Enai Noki Paayum Thota.’ He abruptly cut off the query midway and responded, “What name did you just say? I only remember one song from it. That film is not mine; someone else must have made it.”

Gautham’s comment has sparked heated discussions online, with many speculating that unresolved tensions between Dhanush and Gautham Menon still persist. The film, co-starring Megha Akash, Sasikumar, and Sunaina, faced several release delays. Though jointly produced by Ondraga Entertainment and Escape Artists, it was eventually released by Vels International.
