DD Returns 2 starring Santhanam in the lead is the fourth film in a horror comedy franchise after DD Returns (2023), Dhilluku Dhuddu 2 (2019), and Dhilluku Dhuddu (2016). As reported by MovieCrow, it has now been officially announced that the DD Returns 2 first look will be released on January 21, 2025 at 10: oo AM. The DD Returns 2 release date is May 7, 2025.

DD Returns 2 is written and directed by Prem Anand who also helmed DD Returns. Actor Arya’s The Show People has produced DD Returns 2 alongside Niharika Entertainment. DD Returns 2 has Ofro for music, Dipak Kumar Padhy for cinematography, AR Mohan for art, and Bharath for edits.
