Basil Joseph to Direct Mammootty and Mohanlal in Upcoming Film

Malayalam filmmaker Basil Joseph, known for directing movies like “Godha” and “Minnal Murali,” has also ventured into acting. His performance in the film “Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey” was widely appreciated. Reports suggest that his next directorial project might feature Malayalam cinema legends Mohanlal and Mammootty together.

In a recent interview, Basil Joseph shared updates, stating, “I am planning to focus on directing for some time, stepping back from acting. Scriptwork is ongoing for one or two projects, but the shoot hasn’t started yet. It’s beyond my control, so it hasn’t begun immediately. Regarding the movie with Mammootty and Mohanlal, it will happen at the right time.”
