ISL 2024-25: Odisha FC condemns fan violence during match against Bengaluru

Odisha FC condemned the fan violence faced by some of its supporters during and after the ISL 2024-25 clash against Bengaluru FC at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium on Wednesday, January 22, where the Juggernauts clinched a 3-2 victory.

Various videos circulated on social media platforms reportedly showed Bengaluru fans spitting on their Odisha counterparts during the match and resorting to violent behaviour after the full-time whistle.

“The Club has taken note of the unfortunate incidents involving our fans during the #BFCOFC game tonight in Bengaluru. The club strongly condemns any form of violence and will be formally addressing the matter with the Indian Super League (ISL) and Bengaluru FC,” Odisha wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Odisha is sixth in the ISL points table with 24 points in 17 matches. Bengaluru FC is third with 28 points in the same number of outings.
