Ranji Trophy 2024-25: Rohit Sharma scores 28 runs in second innings against J&K

Rohit Sharma scored 28 runs off 35 balls for Mumbai in the second innings against Jammu and Kashmir in a Ranji Trophy 2024-25 match at the BKC Stadium in Mumbai on Friday.

The star batter holed out to Abid Mushtaq – who pulled off a stunning catch – over at short mid-wicket off a Yudhvir Singh delivery.

Rohit was dropped on one run by Umar Nazir who could not collect a return catch off a miscued straight drive in his second over. The 37-year-old made the most of the repreive, collecting 14 runs off the same over which included a pull shot for six runs.

He picked another maximum in the following over, picking Auqib Nabi over long off. Rohit scored a total of two fours and three sixes in his knock.

The India captain had scored just three runs off 19 delieveries in the first innings as Mumbai was all out for 120 runs.
