Samyuktha Cast as Heroine in Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2 Movie

Samyuktha has been signed to play the female lead opposite Balakrishna in the movie ‘Akhanda 2’. The shooting of this sequel began with a formal ceremony at Kumbh Mela. Following that, the crew has been filming a dramatic fight sequence in a village in Andhra Pradesh.

Previously, Pragya played the female lead in the first part. It remains unclear whether Samyuktha is stepping into Pragya’s role or taking up a completely different character. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, the original ‘Akhanda’ starring Balakrishna was a massive hit. Its action sequences, heroic moments, and production design were highly appreciated by fans.

Due to the success of the first installment, plans for the sequel were announced. ‘Akhanda 2’ is being produced by the 14 Reels banner under the presentation of Balakrishna’s daughter Tejaswini. The official announcement by the production team revealed that the movie is slated for release on September 25th following its formal pooja ceremony.
