Shivam Dube called up for India vs England T20I series; to replace injured Nitish Reddy
Shivam Dube, part of the T20 World Cup-winning team in 2024, has been added to India’s T20I side for the ongoing series against England. He is set to join the squad in Rajkot ahead of the third game.
Sportstar understands that the team management called up Dube following an injury to all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy. Dube, who featured in Mumbai’s Ranji Trophy outing against Jammu and Kashmir, scored a duck in both innings.
Dube missed the initial stages of the Ranji Trophy due to a back injury but played the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 (151 runs in five matches at 179.76) and Vijay Hazare Trophy (80 runs in three matches at 131.14).
