‘Thalapathy 69’ Movie Renamed ‘Jana Nayagan’: What Fans Need to Know

The movie ‘Thalapathy69,’ directed by H. Vinoth and starring Vijay, has officially been titled ‘Jananayagan.’ The political theme of the movie is evident from the first look poster, which was released recently in celebration of Republic Day. Initially, the film began shooting without an official title.

The first look poster is designed uniquely, reminiscent of Vijay’s famous selfie moment with fans standing atop a vehicle during breaks between his commitments with ‘Leo’ and ‘Goat.’ The movie is being produced by KVN Productions, and the shooting is currently ongoing in Chennai with specially constructed sets.

The stellar cast includes Vijay, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Menon, Naren, and Priyamani. Anirudh is composing the music, and Sathya is handling cinematography. As speculated, this movie might be the last film Vijay acts in before venturing into active politics, significantly increasing the anticipation around ‘Jananayagan.’

Previously, rumors claimed the film’s title would be ‘Naalaiya Theerpu,’ but the official announcement has now put such speculations to rest.
