‘Pathikichu’ Lyrical Video From Ajith Kumar’s Vidaamuyarchi Is Out!
Actor Ajith Kumar is on extended break from acting. After bagging the third spot in FIA 24H Series held in Dubai, the actor is now focused on training for his next event. He was last seen on screens in Thunivu helmed by H. Vinoth. The Valimai actor will soon be seen on screens in the action thriller Vidaamuyarchi. Director Magizh Thirumeni, known for Thadaiyara Thaakka, has written and directed the flick. Actress Trisha Krishnan will be seen in the female lead role. The flick was slated to hit theaters for Pongal. But was forced to be adjourned owing to what was whispered to be copyright infringement. The production house seems to have sorted out everything and has rescheduled the release of Vidaamuyarchi on 6th of February. The entertainer will be released in languages Tamil and Telugu.
The makers are extensively promoting the film across all platforms. They had dropped the teaser and trailer of the movie recently. Now they have shared the lyrical video of the number ‘Pathikichu’ on social media. Taking to their official X handle, Lyca Productions dropped a bunch of posters from the film along with a link to the video of Pathikichu and wrote, “The beats ignite the fire, and the frames bring it alive! Singers Anirudh Ravichander and Yogi Sekar have lent their voice for the song. Lyricist Vishnu Edavan has penciled lyrics for the track. The rap piece in the number is penned by Amogh Balaji. Choreographer Kalyan has fashioned dance moves for the song. Artist Venky has been credited for the design of lyrical video. Vidaamuyarchi marks the third association of Anirudh Ravichander and Ajith Kumar after their sensational albums in Vedalam and Vivegam. Two minute trailer of Vidaamuyarchi was released recently which had the actor racing a car and pull off some high-octane action blocks. The trailer certainly raised the expectations on the entertainer.
Vidaamuyarchi is inspired by Kurt Russell’s Hollywood film Breakdown, crafted by Jonathan Mostow. Magizh Thirumeni is reported to have tweaked the story in accord with the sensibilities of the Indian audience. Cast of Vidaamuyarchi also features actors Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, Ganesh Saravanan, Ramya Subramanian, Dasarathi, big boss title winner Arav, Nikhil Nair, Sravan, and Siddharth. Cinematographer Om Prakash has shouldered camera for the project. Editor N. B. Srikanth will be editing the flick. Stunt master Supreme Sundar has fashioned action moves for the drama. The venture is funded by Subaskaran Allirajah for his production house Lyca Productions.
On the professional front, actor Ajith Kumar is also gearing up for the release of his action-comedy drama Good Bad Ugly which is poised to hit the screens on 10th of April. Story teller Adhik Ravichandran has helmed the project with stars Trisha Krishnan, Prabhu, Prasanna, Arjun Das, and Yogi Babu essaying supporting roles. On the other hand, actress Trisha Krishnan will have successive releases shortly in Thug Life directed by Mani Ratnam in which she has teamed up with actors Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan, a Malayalam drama Ram directed by Jeethu Joseph in which she has shared screen space with actor Mohanlal, and a Telugu film Vishwambhara filmed by Mallidi Vassishta in which she has co starred with actor Chiranjeevi. The Paramapadham Vilayattu actress is currently in the sets of director RJ Balaji working on their next project Surya 45.
