Jana Nayagan: Overseas rights of Vijay’s film sold!
Jana Nayagan starring Vijay in the lead is the actor’s last film before his career-shift to politics, and the movie is scheduled to release for Pongal in January, 2026. A KVN Productions venture, Jana Nayagan is written and directed by H Vinoth and is touted to be based on Bhagavanth Kesari (2023), a Telugu film written and directed by Anil Ravipudi.
On Saturday, it was officially announced that Jana Nayagan’s overseas rights have been acquired by Phars Film. Word in the grapevine is that Jana Nayagan‘s overseas rights has been sold for Rs. 75 Cr – Rs 78 Cr.
Also starring Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priyamani, Prakash Raj, Narain, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, among others, Jana Nayagan has Anirudh Ravichander for music.
