Ranji Trophy: Haryana vs Mumbai quarterfinal match shifted from Lahli to Kolkata at the last minute

The Ranji Trophy quarterfinal fixture between Mumbai and Haryana has been shifted from Lahli to Kolkata at the last moment due to ‘unavoidable circumstances’.

The Mumbai Cricket Association received an email from Abey Kuruvilla, the General Manager of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) late on Tuesday, informing that the match will now be played at Eden Gardens and the Cricket Association of Bengal will take care of all the arrangements.

While no specific reason was cited, it is believed that fog and inclement weather could be the reason behind this shift.

Earlier, the other fixture between Jammu & Kashmir and Kerala was also shifted to Pune for a similar reason.

The Mumbai team was scheduled to reach Lahli on Wednesday morning. But now, they are expected to reach Kolkata later in the day.
