Vidaamuyarchi: OTT release date of Ajith starrer officially announced by Netflix!
Vidaamuyarchi, the official Tamil adaptation of Hollywood road thriller Breakdown (1997), stars actor Ajith Kumar in the lead, and the movie released in theaters on February 6, 2025. It has now been officially announced that Vidamuyarchi‘s OTT release date is March 3, 2025. Vidaamuyarchi will be available to stream on Netflix in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
A Lyca Productions venture, Vidaamuyarchi is written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni, and also stars Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, Aarav, Nikhil Sajith, Dasarathi, Ganesh Saravanan, Ramya Subramanian, among others.
Vidaamuyarchi with Anirudh Ravichander for music follows the story of a married couple, Arjun (Ajith) and Kayal (Trisha), who, during a cross-country drive on the verge of a divorce, become unknowing victims of a deviant attack.
Arjun and Kayal’s car breaks down in a desolate region of Azerbaijan, and Kayal disappears while hitchhiking with another Tamil couple Rakshith (Arjun Sarja) and Deepika (Regina Cassandra) with the hopes of getting a mechanic/help. The husband Arjun’s frantic search for his missing wife Kayal, then unveils a chain of crimes, and a suspense story.
