Sundar C to reunite Karthi, Nayanthara?

Actors Karthi and Nayanthara have previously shared screen-space in the horror masala comedy Kaashmora (2016), that ended up a disaster at the Tamil box-office. 9 years later, Karthi and Nayanthara are in the news for seemingly reuniting under Sundar C’s direction.

Sundar C is currently directing Nayanthara in a divine fantasy sequel titled Mookuthi Amman 2. The director revealed in a recent interview that Mookuthi Amman 2 is being filmed in Chennai, and praised Nayanthara as a ‘dedicated artist’. 

Karthi currently has movies like Vaa Vaathiyar with director Nalan Kumarasamy, Sardar 2 with director PS Mithran, an untitled project with director Tamizh, and Kaithi 2 with director Lokesh Kanagaraj in the pipeline. At this time, buzz has it that Karthi will also be beginning a new film with director Sundar C, and that Nayanthara is in talks to play female lead in it.
