Retro starring Suriya in the lead released in theaters on May 1, 2025, and the movie’s opening weekend box-office collection in the UK and Ireland was officially announced as £163, 457 i.e. Rs. 1,83,75,509.03. Ahimsa Entertainment is the Retro distributor in UK and Ireland regions, and the banner has now officially updated Retro‘s day 5 collections too.
Retro is currently headed to become Suriya’s first £200k+ grosser in UK and Ireland. This would make Retro Suriya’s highest grossing film in the overseas region. Written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Retro is a multi-genre period action, with Pooja Hegde playing female lead.
