Tamil cinema’s dynamic actor Atharvaa Murali is all set for a defining chapter in his career in 2025, with a slate of exciting projects lined up for back-to-back releases. Known for his versatility and emotive performances, Atharvaa is ready to showcase his range through films like “Parasakthi,” “Idhayam Murali,” “DNA,” and “Thanal.”

Parasakthi:

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Sudha Kongara, this political period drama is one of the most ambitious Tamil projects in recent times. Set against the backdrop of the 1965 anti-Hindi agitations in Tamil Nadu, the film features Atharvaa, Sivakarthikeyan, and Sreeleela in key roles. Atharvaa plays a college student, and the film is set for a grand Pongal 2026 release, expected to be a milestone in his career.

Idhayam Murali:

Produced and directed by Aakash Bhaskaran, this romantic drama holds emotional significance as it pays tribute to Atharvaa’s late father, actor Murali, fondly remembered as “Idhayam Murali.” Exploring themes of unrequited love and emotional depth, the film is set to release in mid-2025, with Atharvaa’s performance tipped to be a major highlight.

DNA and Thanal:

“DNA” is a crime-action drama featuring Atharvaa alongside Nimisha Sajayan, directed by Nelson Venkatesan and produced by Olympia Movies. The film has already piqued interest with its intriguing promotional content. Meanwhile, details of “Thanal” remain under wraps, but expectations are high as both projects are expected to further cement Atharvaa’s position as a versatile lead actor.
