Jailer 2: Rajinikanth welcomed by Kerala minister PA Mohammed Riyas
Just recently, a video of Rajinikanth being welcomed in Kozhikode for the Jailer 2 shooting went viral on Tamil social media. Now, P. A. Mohammed Riyas, Minister for Public Works and Tourism in Kerala has called on Rajinikanth at the Jailer 2 shooting spot in Kozhikode, as a welcome gesture.
Jailer 2 will see the return of Rajinikanth as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, a retired jailer who commands respect among former prisoners, and with the help of their criminal network, busts drug mafias.
Malayalam star actor Mohanlal had played a cameo as Mathew in the film’s blockbuster prequel Jailer (2023), and writer, director Nelson Dilipkumar visiting the sets of Mohanal’s Hridayapoorvam, has intensified talks of Mohanlal’s return in Jailer 2.
Jailer 2 is a production venture of Sun Pictures, with Anirudh Ravichander for music. Rajinikanth will be shooting for the film in Kozhikode till May 20, 2025.
