Vijay Antony is all set to return to the world of detective fiction with his upcoming Tamil crime thriller Maargan, which is scheduled for a theatrical release on June 27, 2025.
The film is directed by Leo John Paul, marking his directorial debut, and features Vijay Antony as a high-ranking police officer unraveling a gripping mystery. Originally titled Gagana Maargan, the film has since been renamed to Maargan to better reflect its intense and suspenseful narrative.
In a major update for streaming audiences, Prime Video has acquired the post-theatrical digital rights, meaning the film will be available for OTT streaming on Prime Video after its run in cinemas.
