IPL 2025 Schedule: Full fixtures list, dates, venues announced
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 schedule on Sunday. The opener will be on March 22 at Eden Gardens, with the defending champion Kolkata Knight Riders facing Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
The playoffs will be held from May 20 to May 25. Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator will take place on May 20 and 21, respectively, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
The tournament will conclude at the iconic Eden Gardens, with Qualifier 2 and the final being held in the city of Kolkata.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will play Rajasthan Royals (RR) on March 23 in Hyderabad. IPL’s two most successful teams, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians will face off on the same day.
Each team will play 14 matches during the league phase, which comprises a total of 70 matches. 13 venues will host 74 matches over 65 days this season.
CSK and MI will play each other twice in IPL 2025.
