Inban Udhayanidhi Begins CEO Tenure with Idli Kadai Release
The much-anticipated Tamil film Idli Kadai is scheduled for a theatrical release across Tamil Nadu on October 1, 2025. The Tamil Nadu distribution rights have been officially acquired by Red Giant Movies, now headed by Inban Udhayanidhi, marking his entry as CEO and distributor, succeeding his father Udhayanidhi Stalin.
Directed by Dhanush, the film features him in the lead role alongside Nithya Menen, while Arun Vijay plays the antagonist. The ensemble cast also includes Rajkiran, Shalini Pandey, Sathyaraj, R. Parthiban, P. Samuthirakani, and Prakash Raj. Produced by Dawn Pictures in association with Wunderbar Films, the movie’s music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, with two singles already released. The film was initially announced for an April 10 release, but the makers postponed it to October 1 to avoid box-office clashes, with the new date confirmed through an official poster announcement.
