Qatar to host 2025 ISSF World Cup Final and 2026 World Shooting Championships

Qatar will host the 2025 ISSF World Cup Final and the 2026 World Shooting Championships, the International Shooting Sport Federation announced on Friday.

While the dates have yet to be confirmed, both tournaments will include rifle, pistol, and shotgun events. Qatar will host its first ISSF World Shooting Championships and its fourth ISSF World Cup leg.

Doha first hosted the 2001 ISSF World Cup Final in shotgun events, and later hosted the ISSF World Cup Final for all three disciplines in 2023, following another shotgun leg earlier in the season.

The ISSF Executive Committee also approved a change of dates and location for the 2026 ISSF World Cup Shotgun. The event, originally set to take place in Rabat, Morocco, will now be held in Tangier from March 23 to April 2, 2026.

Additionally, the Egyptian Shooting Federation will host a leg of the 2026 ISSF Junior World Cup in Cairo, Egypt, from April 19 to 30, 2026.
