ENG vs SA head-to-head record in ODIs, ICC Champions Trophy 2025: England v South Africa overall stats; most runs, wickets

South Africa will look to confirm its semifinal spot when it meets England in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi on Saturday.

After starting their campaign against Afghanistan with a win, followed by a washout against Australia, the Proteas will need to beat England, or ensure they don’t lose by too big a margin, in order to qualify for the last-four stage.

Meanwhile, England will only have pride to play for as the Jos Buttler-side was knocked out of the competition after suffering two consecutive defeats.

South Africa and England have faced each other in 70 One Day Internationals, of which the Proteas have won 34 matches, and England 30.

The teams are on an even keel in the ICC Champions Trophy, with England winning twice and South Africa also emerging victorious on two occasions in the four matches held between the sides so far.
