Australia, South Africa face challenging travel plans ahead of Champions Trophy semifinals

Australia and South Africa will be in Dubai over the next two days, as they await to find their semifinal venues in the Champions Trophy.

Though India (playing all its matches in Dubai) and New Zealand have qualified with the latter set to play its semifinal in Lahore on Wednesday, the identity of the team that will play in Dubai depends on the outcome of Sunday’s fixture between the Men in Blue and the Black Caps.

With South Africa topping Group B, the team will stay in Dubai if Rohit’s men lose their final match and finish second in Group A. If India continues its winning run on Sunday, it will meet Australia in Tuesday’s semifinal.

The Aussies and the Proteas are expected to train at the ICC Academy on Sunday. On Monday, one team will fly back to Pakistan to play in the second semifinal against the Kiwis.
