ISL 2024-25: FC Goa joins Mohun Bagan in semifinals, Kerala Blasters knocked out

Manolo Marquez’s FC Goa secured qualification into consecutive editions of the Indian Super League, after Jamshedpur FC drew 1-1 with Kerala Blasters in Kochi on Saturday.

The draw put Khalid Jamil’s men to third in the standings, with 38 points from 22 games, with a win in their remaining games taking them to 44. Goa currently has a point more, making its way into the final four directly.

The Gaurs made it to semifinals on successive seasons for the first time in four years.

The current 2024-25 season has further cemented Marquez’s reputation as one of ISL’s finest tacticians. Despite a poor start, where FC Goa won just one of its first six matches, they responded with a sensational 12-game unbeaten run.
