FA Cup 2024-25 quarterfinal draw: All you need to know, date, time, teams, how to watch
The FA Cup this season has thrown a lot of surprises, with heavyweights such as Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal already having made early exits.
As the quarterfinal stage approaches, teams will slowly start to believe that they can make a genuine push to win the oldest competition in English football.
With the surviving teams currently playing (or already played) their fifth-round fixtures, here is everything you need to know about the FA Cup 2024-25 quarterfinal draw.
The FA Cup quarterfinal draw will take place on Sunday, March 2, soon after the Manchester United vs Fulham clash at Old Trafford.
The two sides kick-off at 4:30 PM local time (10 PM IST), which means the draw will be staged around 6:15 GMT (11:45 PM IST). If the match heads to extra-time or penalties, then the draw will be shifted to around 7 PM local time (12:30 AM IST, March 3).
The FA Cup draw will be televised live on the BBC as part of their coverage of the Man Utd vs Fulham match. It will also be broadcast across the FA Cup’s official social media channels on X, Facebook and Instagram.
Former United defender Denis Irwin and ex-Fulham midfielder Danny Murphy will be drawing the balls for the last eight.
All four FA Cup quarterfinals will be played after the next international break on the weekend of 29-30 March.
There will be replays or two-legged ties in the quarterfinal stages, meaning if a contest ends in a draw, then it will be decided with extra-time and penalties, if required.
