AR Murugadoss directed Madharaasi starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead releases in theaters worldwide on September 5, 2025, and the Tamil film has sold over 1, 50,000 tickets in advance bookings on BookMyShow alone. Madharaasi‘s opening Friday falls on the holiday of Milad-un-Nabi and Onam in India, so the film is expected to register a solid opening weekend box-office.
