Sunrisers Hyderabad power-hitter Heinrich Klaasen on Sunday scored the joint third-fastest century in the Indian Premier League, against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
He reached the three-figure mark in just 37 balls, matching Yusuf Pathan’s record from 2010 against Mumbai Indians. This was Klaasen’s second IPL century.
Only Chris Gayle and Vaibhav Suryavanshi have scored faster hundreds than the South African batter in the IPL.
His efforts helped Sunrisers post 278 runs, the third-highest total in tournament history. SRH won the match by 110 runs, ending its season with a morale-boosting victory.
