In a rather unexpected change, Central and West agree to end this match in a draw. Even though the first-innings lead was enough, Central was looking like pushing for a result with quick wickets. In the end, Central advances by virtue of first-innings lead.

Five-wicket haul for Saransh Jain. He gets it with the scalp of Shardul Thakur, who is caught behind. Tanush Kotian on 40 off 72 is running out of partners. Surely, Central can secure a win, which did not look likely when play started today.

Harsh Dubey gets the wicket of Tushar Deshpande, who had been steady at the crease to give support to Tanush Kotian. He falls for 12 off 28 balls.

Central pushing for an outright win.

N. Jagadeesan continues to impress as he brings up another half century. Tanmay Agarwal was nabbed by Auqib Nabi before Lunch but Devdutt Padikkal came in after him and struck 15 off 49.

The two teams decide to shake hands and agree for a draw.

South Zone will advance to the final with a first-innings lead.

Saransh Jain continues to rip through the West batting order. He gets Shams Mulani and Shreyas Iyer. The India international, surprisingly, came down to bat at No. 7. He picked a six and a four before getting caught behind.

Central Zone now within reach of an outright win.

Harsh Dubey picks two wickets in successive overs. First, he gets Yashasvi Jaiswal, who had completed his fifty after the lunch break. He follows it up with the wicket of captain Ruturaj Gaikwad.

Second wicket for Saransh Jain! He knocks over SS Nawale’s stumps, who has to make the walk back on just nine runs.

That’s the last action before Lunch on Day 4.

South Zone ends up with a lead of 175 runs. Gurjapneet Singh ends up with four wickets as North Zone is skittled out for 361 runs.

Aarya Desai decides to charge down to Saransh Jain, ends up getting stumped. He goes for 35 off 58 deliveries. SS Nawale joins Jaiswal.

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Aarya Desai off to a steady start with the latter hitting a couple of boundaries. 

Another wicket for Nidheesh MD. He has three in the innings now. He gets the other set batter out, castling Mayank Dagar for 31. Yudhvir Singh joins Auqib Nabi now.

Nidheesh MD rearranges the woodwork, Sahil Lotra falls on 19 off 31. Auqib Nabi is the new batter, who is not pushover with the bat. But the 210 runs ahead of North Zone will be too steep a challenge.

Two southpaws Yashasvi Jaiswal and Aarya Desai open the innings for West Zone. They’ve been quick between the wickets so far, looking to rotate strike. Khaleel Ahmed and Yash Thakur operating with the new ball for Central.

Not the ideal start for North Zone on day four. Set batter Shubham Khajuria falls in the second over of the day, gets castled by Karnataka quick V. Koushik. Sahil Lotra and Mayank Dagar have added 32 runs since his wicket and are not giving up just yet.

Central manages to add 44 runs to its overnight total before getting bundled out. Arzan Nagwaswalla picks up both wickets in the morning – Yash Thakur and Khaleel Ahmed. Central secures a massive lead of 162 runs. Up to West Zone now on how to approach its second innings.
