Dabang Delhi K.C. climbed to the top of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 table with a comfortable 45-34 win over Bengal Warriorz on Tuesday night.
Ashu Malik led from the front with 16 raid points, while Ajinkya Pawar’s all-round showing added balance to the performance. The victory, Delhi’s fourth in a row, came at the Vishwanadh Sport Club in Vizag.
Meanwhile, it was vindication for Nitin Kumar, whose 15-point effort carried the Jaipur Pink Panthers past Gujarat Giants in a tie-breaker – its second of the season – later in the day.
Locked at 30-30 in regulation time, the two-time champion held its nerve to seal a memorable win in a contest that could have gone either way.
