Red hot updates on “Suriya 45”: Three heroines? When will the shooting begin?

Suriya, one of Kollywood’s most versatile stars, is currently promoting his upcoming magnum opus “Kanguva”, directed by Siruthai Siva. The actor has also wrapped up shooting for “Suriya 44”, helmed by Karthik Subbaraj, which is set for a Summer 2025 release. Now, Suriya is gearing up for his next venture, “Suriya 45”, collaborating with director RJ Balaji.

The latest buzz reveals that the film, tentatively titled “Karuppu”, will be a spiritual fantasy entertainer. Reports had previously confirmed that actress Kashmira Pardeshi had been roped in for a key role. In a new update, actress Rukmini Vasanth, who is already making waves with her roles alongside Vijay Sethupathi in “Ace” and Sivakarthikeyan in “SK 23”, is also in talks to join the cast in a pivotal role.

Additionally, there is speculation that Bollywood sensation Mrunal Thakur has been signed to play the main female lead opposite Suriya, further raising expectations for the film. The shoot for “Suriya 45” is expected to kick off in November’s first week, with picturesque locations like Kodaikanal and Ooty as the backdrop. Though these details remain unconfirmed, they are creating a buzz online.
