Girls Will Be Girls is an Indo-French production written and directed by Indian filmmaker Suchi Talati. The movie is set around a strict boarding school nestled in the Himalayas, where 16-year-old Mira played by actress Preethi Panigrahi, discovers desire and romance.
Mira’s rebellious sexual awakening is disrupted by her mother (Kani Kusruti), who never got to come of age herself, and what happens next forms the rest of Girls Will Be Girls. The film is currently set for a digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video in India.
