IND vs AUS, 2nd Test: Injury scare for Jasprit Bumrah, pulls up mid over in Adelaide

India pacer Jasprit Bumrah suffered an injury scare on the second day of the second Test match againt Australia in Adelaide.

Bowling the 81st over of Australia’s first innings, Bumrah pulled up with discomfort in his leg and requested for the physio. However, he was fit to resume and completed the over after receiving minor treatment.

Bumrah was used sparringly on the second day as he bowled just seven overs across two spells before the incident. He picked the wickets of Nathan McSweeney and Steve Smith in those overs.

India is already without leading fast bowler Mohammed Shami, who is easing his way to competitive cricket after a knee surgery.
