Guwahati Masters 2024: Anmol Kharb reaches final, Dhruv-Tanisha pair knocked out
Anmol Kharb progressed to the women’s singles final of the Guwahati Masters, a BWF Tour Super 100, on Saturday.
The 17-year-old Kharb defeated Mansi Singh 21-19, 21-17 in an all-Indian semifinal in 40 minutes. She will take on Chinese qualifier Cai Yan Yan in the summit clash.
In mixed doubles, Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto went down 24-22, 21-11 to China’s Zhang Han Yu and Bao Li Jing in their semifinal. Tanisha, along with Ashwini Ponnappa, will play women’s doubles semifinals later in the day.
Sathish Kumar Karunakaran will face China’s Wang Zheng Xing in the men’s singles semifinals.
