World Chess Championship Final: Gukesh, Ding Liren register seventh consecutive draw

The 2024 World Chess Championship final between D Gukesh and Ding Liren saw its seventh consecutive draw on Saturday.

The 10th Round began with a London System, with reigning champion Ding gaining the early advantage.

With Gukesh, playing with the black pieces, failing to make any inroads, the game soon tapered to a draw.

The two continue to be tied on points in the race for the World Championship title. If the final continues to be tied after round 14, it will move to a tie-breaker, which will be played on December 13.
