West Ham’s Michail Antonio involved in car accident
West Ham United striker Michail Antonio has been involved in a car crash, the Premier League club confirmed on Saturday.
“West Ham United can confirm striker Michail Antonio has today been involved in a road traffic accident. The thoughts and prayers of everyone at the club are with Michail, his family and friends at this time,” read the statement.
The 34-year-old, who joined West Ham in 2015, has 83 goals for the Hammers in 322 appearances while winning the UEFA Conference League in 2023.
England-born Antonio never made a senior international appearance for the Three Lions before he made a switch to Jamaica.
West Ham hosts Wolves on Monday.
