Guwahati Masters 2024: Ashwini-Tanisha pair defends women’s doubles title
Ashwini Ponnappa and Tanisha Crasto successfully defended the women’s doubles title at Guwahati Masters, a BWF Tour Super 100 tournament, on Sunday.
The top-seeded Indian pair of Ashwini and Tanisha defeated China’s Li Hua Zhou and Wang Zi Meng 21-18, 21-12 in 43 minutes in the final to win the title for the second year in a row.
Later in the day, Anmol Kharb and Sathish Kumar Karunakaran take on Chinese qualifiers, Cai Yan Yan and Zhu Xuan Chen, respectively in the singles finals.
