The Immortal Man – Peaky Blinders movie wraps shooting! OTT release soon!
Peaky Blinders is a crime drama centered on a family of mixed Irish Traveller and Romani origins based in early 1900s Birmingham, England. The famous Netflix OTT series that ran between 2013 and 2022, follows the exploits of a crime gang named ‘Peaky Blinders’, in the direct aftermath of the First World War.
The Immortal Man is the highly fan-requested Peaky Blinders movie, which sees the return of Oscar winning Oppenheimer lead actor Cillian Murphy as protagonist Thomas “Tommy” Shelby. Netflix has now officially updated that shooting of The Immortal Man has wrapped, and that it is expected to be available for streaming soon.
The Immortal Man will also see the return of Paul Anderson as Arthur Shelby, Stephen Graham as Hayden Stagg, Sophie Rundle as Ada Thorne, née Shelby, Ned Dennehy as Charlie Strong, Packy Lee as Johnny Dogs. Ian Peck as Curly, among others. The movie has screenplay by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, and is directed by Tom Harper.
The Immortal Man is a production venture of BBC Film, Banijay Entertainment, Tiger Aspect Productions, and Caryn Mandabach Productions.
