India will take on Australia in the Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground starting Thursday with the five-match series leveled at 1-1 after three games.

Host Australia will be without the services of Josh Hazlewood while visitor India will begin its new chapter in Tests without R Ashwin, who announced his retirement after the Brisbane match.

Australia has already made its playing XI public with the 19-year-old Sam Konstas making his debut and Scott Boland coming in place of Hazlewood.
