Balaji Murugadoss’s Fire Trailer: An Extortionist On The Loose!
Actor Balaji Murugadoss fell in the attention of the audience after his stint in the reality show Bigg Boss Tamil season 4. Subsequently, he took part in the first season of Tamil Bigg Boss Ultimate and won the title. He shot to fame overnight after bagging the title. In no time, he made his debut in Tamil cinema via the comedy entertainer Va Varalam Va which hit theaters under the direction of R Suresh Babu and L G Ravichandhar. The venture was tagged with negative reviews and had a poor run in the box office. The budding actor will soon have an opportunity to set things right with his upcoming venture Fire. Story teller J S K Sathish Kumar has penned and directed the entertainer. Writer S K Jeeva has written dialogues for the flick. Actresses Gayathri Shan, Sakshi Agarwal, Chandini Tamilarasan, and Rachitha Mahalakshmi have been cast against the actor in the drama.
The makers have been aggressively promoting the drama across platforms. Now they have unveiled the trailer of the project on social media. Taking to his official X handle, actor Vijay Sethupathi shared a poster from the film along with a link to the trailer of Fire and wrote, “Launching the Trailer of Fire movie. Best wishes to the entire team. Fire Tamil movie – Movie based on true incidents. Crime thriller by J S K Sathish Kumar.” Here is the post made by the actor.
Nearly two minute long trailer of Fire begins with a voiceover, “What began as a missing case, has now grown endlessly, like hanuman’s tail.” The scene cuts to Balaji Murugadoss gifting an expensive jewel to actress Chandini Tamilarasan. She asks him, “Sir! Why such a costly gift to me?” He responds, “I do not think much about its value. I only see if that person deserves it.” During the investigation a man credits him, “The fellow is a doctor with the Midas touch. He cured my 6 years of back pain in just 6 days sir.” Then we see a man complaining to the cops about his missing son, “His name is Kasi. He is a physiotherapist. He has been missing for two days.” The trailer ends with a masked man carrying a corpse on his shoulders.
Fire is inspired by a true criminal case that took place in Nagercoil in 2020 in which hundreds of women were subjected to extortion. The project also features actors Singampuli and Suresh Chakravarthi in key supporting characters. The music for the flick has been composed by music director D M Udhayakumar. Cinematographer G Sathish has handled camera gears for the drama. Editor C S Prem Kumar has been brought on board to bring coherence to the flick. Art director S S Suseedevaraj has designed the background for the film. Stunt master Dinesh Kasi has fashioned action blocks. The project is funded by J S K Sathish Kumar himself under his production company JSK Film Corporation.
On the professional front, actor Balaji Murugadoss will soon have a release in Retta Thala directed by Thiru Kumaran in which he has shared screen space with actors Arun Vijay, Tanya Ravichandran, and Siddhi Idnani.
