Bengal beats Services to enter Santosh Trophy final for the 47th time
Bengal entered the Santosh Trophy final for the 47th time in the history of the competition after beating Services 4-2 at the GMC Balayogi Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Either of Kerala or Manipur will face the 32-time champion.
Manotos Maji (17’), Naro Hari Shrestha (45+4’) and Robi Hansda (45+2’, 90+6’) scored for Bengal while substitute Bikash Thapa’s 53rd minute effort and Juwel Ahmed Mazumder’s own goal in the 74th minute accounted for Services’ goals.
