IND vs AUS, 4th Test: India’s highest successful chases in Tests

India needs 340 runs to win the fourth Test against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Monday.

India’s record run chase in Tests came way back in 1976 against the West Indies when it shot down 406 runs. The next best came in 2008 when it chased 387 against England in Chennai.

If India gets to the target, it will be the side’s highest run chase in Australia. It chased down 328 runs at Brisbane during the last Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia.
