67th National Shooting Championship: Adarsh Singh clinches gold in 25-metre standard pistol

Adarsh Singh was in top form, clinching the men’s 25-metre standard pistol gold with a seven-point margin over Udhayveer Sidhu, Omkar Singh and Olympian Gurpreet Singh in the 67th National shooting championship at the Dr. Karni Singh Range, Tughlakabad.

Udhayveer and Omkar won the silver and bronze respectively after pipping Gurpreet on the better count of inner-10s.

Prashant Kumar won the men’s 50-metre free pistol gold, while Sainyam won both the women’s and junior gold medals in the same event with a score of 548.

The medals are decided on qualification scores, as the non-Olympic events do not feature the finals.
