Director Karthik Subbaraj, who delivered the blockbuster ‘Jigarthanda DoubleX’ last year, has wrapped up filming for his much-anticipated project ‘Suriya 44’, marking his first collaboration with Suriya. According to reports, the film is on track for a Summer 2025 release, stirring excitement among fans.

Adding to the buzz, there are rumours that Karthik Subbaraj is in talks with Jayam Ravi for a new film, which will commence after the release of ‘Suriya 44’. This upcoming venture is reportedly set to be produced under Karthik’s own banner, Stone Bench Films. While this potential combo has already generated significant curiosity in Kollywood, an official confirmation is still awaited.

Meanwhile, ‘Suriya 44’ is shaping up to be an action-packed love saga. The star-studded cast includes Suriya, Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, Joju George, Karunakaran, Nassar, and Prakash Raj.
