Simbu Teases Exciting New Project, Hints at a Fusion of His Blockbusters for Gen Z

Simbu, fresh off completing “Thug Life”, where he stars alongside the legendary Kamal Haasan in a Mani Ratnam directorial, is gearing up for a busy 2025. With “Thug Life” slated for a grand summer release, the buzz surrounding the film is already sky-high. Before this, Simbu had teamed up with director Desingh Periasamy for a big-budget film.

However, recent reports indicate that the project with Desingh Periasamy has hit delays due to production issues. In the meantime, Simbu is reportedly in talks with other filmmakers, including “2018” director Jude Anthony Joseph and “Oh My Kadavule” director Ashwath Marimuthu, for a new film to get rolling soon.

Today, Simbu dropped a cryptic yet exciting hint about his next venture on social media, writing, “Dum + Manmadhan + Vallavan + VTV in Gen Z mode = NAMBA NEXT!!!” This suggests that his upcoming project will be a thrilling blend of his past blockbuster hits tailored to appeal to a Gen Z audience. Sources suggest that this film is likely to be directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, though an official announcement is still awaited.
