Whoa! Superstar Rajinikanth and Dhanush to unite for a mega-scale project? – Buzz

Following the success of “Vettaiyan”, Superstar Rajinikanth is currently working on his next film “Coolie”, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Once he wraps up “Coolie”, the iconic actor is expected to move on to “Jailer 2”, directed by Nelson, a highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster “Jailer”.

The original “Jailer”, which saw Rajinikanth team up with Nelson, was an industry hit, grossing over ₹650 crores globally. The film also featured powerful cameos from superstars like Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jackie Shroff. In “Jailer 2”, these actors are rumoured to return with more extended roles, adding to the film’s excitement.

 

 

 

Recent reports suggest that director Nelson is planning to bring in new mass-action stars to further elevate the sequel’s appeal. In a move that has set the rumour mill buzzing, it’s said that actor Dhanush will be part of “Jailer 2”, and Rajinikanth has already given his nod to this casting decision.

If true, this collaboration would mark one of the biggest milestones in Tamil cinema, and fans are eagerly awaiting an official confirmation. The news of this potential star-studded casting has already gone viral, raising expectations for “Jailer 2” even higher.
